This morning, I was talking to a long-term friend. She’s a member of the Village Eulogia. (A few months ago, I also had a chance to host an RDSP workshop for them and met with many wonderful parents.)
My friend told me about their upcoming “Move with Love for Village Eulogia” fundraising walk.
Village Eulogia is a registered charitable organization that supports
families with disabilities. They are a Christian community of families (village) living with varying special needs where the whole family engages in activities that promote the abilities and contributions of all.
A community where everyone can find belonging and acceptance, and every person is counted as a blessing.
They offer Camp Eulogia (annual family camps), family retreats, family events, children’s activities, support groups, visitation, training workshops, and more.
On Oct 1, 2022, they will be having their annual walk and run (wheels welcomed) 5 or 10 km. Their fundraising goal this year is $25 000 for Village Eulogia’s year-round programs (Village at Home, Camp Eulogia, and VE Retreat Ministry).
I just want to give a shout-out to this fundraising event and wish all everyone at VE all the best!
If you wish to participate or make a donation to Village Eulogia, here’s the page with more details.
Once you make the donation, you’ll immediately receive a tax receipt through email. Keep in mind that you can claim the donation tax credits when you file your income tax return.
